Overview

This workshop takes a thorough look at the changes that will be brought about as a result of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). These new rules come into effect in 2018 and we will look at their impact as well as how the Brexit and General Election results will affect them. We will look at the differences between the current DPA regime and the GDPR, and identify key actions that will be required to prepare for the biggest change to data protection law for 20 years.

Paul Gibbons, FOIMan training
