The PEACE model of interviewing, also known as Investigative Interviewing, is a model to be used when interviewing suspects and witnesses. However, it should also be used for all types of interviews such as those conducted within disciplinary investigations. The model was designed by top psychologists to enable the interview to maximise the potential of obtaining information from the interviewee. It is universally used throughout the world and is the standard model for the Police and enforcement officers within Central and Local Government.
This course will concentrate on this proven model and will enable attendees to have the knowledge and confidence to conduct professional information gathering interviews.
