Overview

Most of us experience situations where we find it difficult to be entirely honest, to speak our minds in a confident, calm and controlled manner. It might involve a particular individual, a group of people or it could be a general trait.
Sometimes our buttons get pushed and we find ourselves saying something we regret; either we don’t quite articulate our feelings accurately, or we’re a touch too direct in how we express ourselves.

This course will enable you to

In this practical day-long workshop, you’ll explore how to find your voice in all settings, to communicate in a way that respects both your needs and the needs of your audience.

We will focus on three keys areas:

– Understanding assertiveness

– Responding to challenges

– Creating an assertiveness action plan

Who is the Course aimed at

The course is suitable for all staff members. I ask participants to complete a short pre-course questionnaire to help me tailor content to their specific needs. All participants receive relevant follow-up materials after they attend the training session.
