- Contract of Employment
- Unfair dismissal – Fair reasons for dismissal, Procedure, Compensatory awards and automatic unfair dismissal and constructive dismissal.
- Discrimination – Protected Characteristics under the equality act, Harrassment and how to avoid it, Other problem areas in discrimination.
- Parental Rights
- Problem Handling – Performance Management and Capability Procedures, Handling short and long term sickness absence, Variation of contractual terms.
All topics will be illustrated by case studies and examples and with audience participation. There will be ample time for questions.
This course is aimed any manager outside of HR who manages a team of any size.
