Overview
Delegates will understand the fundamentals of the legal process – including sources of English and Welsh law, the need to establish facts, the burden and standard of proof, and the different types of evidence used by the courts. They will also become aware of the quality and primacy of these different types of evidence.
For delegates involved in criminal law practice, the trainer will explain the need and remit of criminal disclosure, the importance of continuity of evidence, and the reasons for admissibility and exclusion of evidence at trial.
