Overview

The course will cover the following:

  • What is Mindfulness
  • How to build and integrate personal Mindfulness practice into everyday life
  • How to manage your thinking to reduce stress, anxiety and tension
  • What are the most common negative “Thinking Traps” and how to reduce them
  • How to break the habits of worrying and over-thinking
  • Practical stress-reduction tools
  • Tools from Positive Psychology to build Wellbeing
  • Experience of Mindfulness meditation practice
  • Access to suite of Meditations to download for personal use

This course will enable you to

  • Reduce levels of stress, tension, irritability and anxiety.
  • Increase your overall health, wellbeing and optimism.
  • Gain greater physical and mental energy.
  • Improve your focus, creativity, concentration, decision-making and problem-solving
  • Increase awareness of self and others, leading to improved communication and relationships.
  • Increase interpersonal sensitivity and compassion.
  • Demonstrate a higher level of personal resilience in dealing with pressure.
  • Gain greater vitality, optimism, enthusiasm and job fulfilment.

The course will provide the tools for this but to gain the full benefit of mindfulness this has to be practised regularly.
