Overview
This session is part of the in-house managers training sessions being run in 2025. The aim is to help you navigate employee relations and people policies throughout the ‘employee lifecycle’ (from onboarding to their exit).
This course will enable you to
- Understand the role of a range of HR policies, the benefits of ‘getting it right’, and when to contact HR for support
- Understand our family friendly and flexible working policies
- Get to grips with changes in legislation and how this impacts you
- Get tips for managing sickness absence
- Understand the process for contractual changes
- Understand the difference between agency workers and employees
Who is the Course aimed at
This session is particularly useful if you are new to Arun, have moved into a line manager role, or want to gain confidence in understanding a range of HR policies and processes, when to contact HR, and how we can help you.
