This course will provide an overview of CoSHH awareness and risk assessment.
Delegates should bring along any CoSHH assessments completed or safety data sheets so these can be used as case studies during the session.

Have an awareness of CoSHH.
This one day course will cover:
CoSHH Awareness including hazard symbols/meanings; routes of exposure; SDS – purpose/meaning/use; control of exposure; PPE/RPE – limitations; role of Health Surveillance
CoSHH Risk Assessment includes hazard v risk; SDS v CoSHH RA v suitable and sufficient; CoSHH essentials; control hierarchy
