Overview

This course provides information on men’s health and wellbeing.

This course will enable you to

  • Understand the “tripod” – endocrinological, physical and psychological.
  • Learn about the “common themes” including the role of exercise, BMI, smoking, alcohol and nutrition
  • Understand more about physical wellbeing
  • Gain knowledge about nutrition and supplements
  • Understanding about emotional, physical and mental well-being, stress and developing resilience
  • Learn the importance of self-care in terms of appropriate medical checks and what to be aware of
  • Understand physical and hormonal changes as we age and their impact on life (including midlife): – Potential impact on personal and professional life
    • -Social expectations of men, including the alpha-male image
    • Changes in testosterone through life, its effect and ED
    • Physical changes and possible psychological effects
  • Take control – empower and inform yourself and others
