Overview
This session is part of the in-house managers training sessions being run in 2025. It aims to help you to understand the process of recruitment, selection and onboarding at Arun District Council.
This course will enable you to
- Understand the process of getting a role out to advert, from writing a role profile to instructing HR to advertise
- Understand how to shortlisting your applications on our recruitment platform
- Interview using STAR
- Think about equality, diversity and inclusion in recruitment
- On-boarding and probation
Who is the Course aimed at
This session is aimed at anyone who is a line manager who would like to gain confidence in recruiting at Arun. If you are not a line manager but are going to be involved in recruitment, training and induction of a new employee in the near future, this session is also for you.
