Overview

This workshop provides an introduction to the topic of mental health, exploring what mental health is (and isn’t) and raising awareness of both common and less common mental health issues, their symptoms and effects and how to both identify and minimise them, to enable those who work in the organisation to actively promote a culture of wellbeing for the benefit of all.

 

This course will enable you to

understand

  • What is meant by “Mental Health”, and when it becomes a problem
  • Stress and how it impacts the brain and body and our lives, including our work
  • Simple things we can do proactively minimise the possibility of compromised mental health and the impact of it, both on ourselves and those we live and work with

Who is the Course aimed at

Anyone who would like a better understanding and awareness of mental health, and the factors that can affect mental wellbeing.
